[new] correlation between theory and one to one formats (Avg. Score: none / Raters: 0) (#3)

- maybe also because of my theory backgrounds, i have to defend the lecture/one-to-many format if it is well settled within a range of possibilities to discuss broadly: complex concepts and topics sometimes need time to be developped.

i am curious why you correlate theory and a one-to-many format. it seems to me that complex concepts and topics aren't specific to theory - and it also seems to me that alternative presentation formats and time to develop a concept need not be mutually exclusive.

that's not to say that the one-to-many format doesn't have its usefulness - for better or worse i certainly am no stranger to it; just ask my students. :-) ... but i wonder if assumptions about in what situations it's most useful can be reconsidered.
