hi ignacio,
it took me some time to find somebody who speaks a little spanish here (thanks, therese). what i understand now is that the relational figure you propose between state and art institution is one of friction and that this friction needs as a basis some kind of advocates who are able to establish a jurisprudence for new art practices.
i agree that within this plane of immanence where power is something very diffuse we need to draw clear lines of rupture at certain points, so that we constantly constitute precarious tries to attack power even where we are entangled in it. but what is the role of el artista como abogado in this game? why artists?
