Hi there.

Not sure if you realize this, but you're using the name of our Goddess and our Faith; Eris Discordia, originally snubbed as Greek Goddess of Chaos and Discord, now venerated by her funky and somewhat deranged faithful in the here and now since the mid-fifties.

Also, you'll understand that most of us, if not every last madly laughing Discordian, are actively involved occultists. We range in style from old-school Thelemites to the most cutting-edge of modern Kaos Mages. Please use our name with respect; perhaps you should add a blurb acknowledging our existence previous to your own. A hypertext search with the keyword "Discordia" will reveal those of us who are organized to maintain a website.

I would suggest you take this in the Discordian fashion, that is, with a good sense of humor. Negative aneristic vibes will be short circuited by our own methods. The Goddess is looking to you expectantly, one way or another: don't disappoint Her, and try not to piss her off (she single-handedly started the Trojan War because she was snubbed at a party of the Greek Gods). Eris is pretty tolerant of most beings with well-developed senses of humor, but She is mischievous, and can be a bit bitchy sometimes. For more information, consult your pineal gland.

yo the fusion of technological advance and religious discourse, it seems that Discordia-R-Us is a shrine in the sense that any street corner can be, with which to foment revolutionary thought processes.

Dear Mr. Nutz:

We at discordia.us mean no disrespect to your goddess, Eris Discordia!
However, it seems that our goddess has a similar name: Error Discordia.
You will find her name invoked frequently on our site. Only it comes out
last name first; we're not sure why that is.

Well anyway, it is always good to hear from other online discordants who
haven't tripped over the power cord and toppled their server. It gives us
hope for a brighter tomorrow.

Best pixels,
